Daikin
Daikin’s new modern research and development centre will be built in the Tech Lane Ghent Science Park. The new building will consist of two parts: test facilities and offices. The test areas, with a total area of approximately 4,000 m², will be among the most advanced of their kind in the world. They will include the latest EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) chambers and test rooms for specific particle, drain and material analyses, among others. Daikin plans to build the new building to the most advanced energy efficiency standards, including nZEB (nearly Zero-Energy-Building) and a BREAAM Excellent certificate.
